Which Radiator
Well my fan wont fit with the turbo , so I decided to just go ahead and get another radiator with a smaller fan while im at it, because the car wont stand a chance in the Summer. Ive been looking into some, and i saw Fluidyne and C&R...The C&R is 100 bucks cheaper, so how much better is the Fluidyne ? Any other good brands out there ? and do they come with a small fan ? What kind of fan does the C&R and Fluidyne come with ?
Only the C&R comes with a fan and its a spal. But if the price you got for it with 100 bucks cheaper than the fluidyne its probably just the radiator. I run a pwr. Works greats. Do a search and you can see the pictures I took.

no actually that price includes everything. Does the PWR come with a slimmer fan ?
I've got a fluidyne in my prelude but I've heard good things about the C&R...both come with a single slimline fan on the passenger side (14" for the C&R and 11" for the fluidyne). There are mounts for the OEM a/c fan but I've run mine for a while with only the single fan and haven't had any cooling issues. I'd say go with whatever you can get the best price on.

would it be a probelm to run a half width fluidyne civic radiator on a lude? ive seen people running civic radiators on h22a swaps in civc but i was just wondering if anyone has sone so on a lude? that would free up alot of room in front of the turbo....

You can run a civic style in a prelude. What difference does it make if the prelude engine is in a prelude body or a civic body, its still the smae motor.
i use a stock radiator that came with my civic. Since it was automatic, it's twice as thick and just put a slimmer fan on it and it keeps the gsr and t4 nice and cool. I'll have to wait till summer to really tell though, i'll probably get a pwr then.
i dont know maybe to get it to mount in a prelude would be different. maybe the civic one would be taller and wouldnt clear the hood..... but i might be doing that half-stlye in the near future....and maybe running the ac lines in front of the radiator to get them out of the way.....
I moved my PWR Civic radiator over to the the side just a bit in my teg to clear the downpipe...............just drilled out the mounts and riveted them in a new spot, and made a new bracket..........email for pics if you want to see.
I'm in Texas, too, and have to keep my a/c.
So here's my problem: I want to use a better-cooling radiator..... (the 4k road trip this summer after my turbo install was ALMOST a success)....but the stock one I have now is almost touching the compressor housing as it is.
This guy at a local shop told me that a stock automatic Integra radiator was two-row, but no thicker than my single row, so that it would cool better. Any thoughts on this or ideas from anyone?
Thanks!

i live in MIAMI . ac isnt a option out there.. you either got a/c or your dead....

There are also times when your windshield condenses over, leaving you blind to the road, and a/c does the best job of de-humidifying it quickly ..or else youre dead....
