A/R question on stock type R
looking to build my first turbo setup on a stock jdm itr. the two turbos i've been looking at are the $525 garrett super 60 at spoolin and the 57 trim garrett also there.
my only question is on this R engine where am i going to hit peak boost with the smallish .48 a/r of the super 60 or going to a .63 a/r of the t3/t04e 57 trim ?
i'm looking to make 300whp TOPS and probably more like 260-280whp
with 11:1 compression, pump gas and a long engine life being concerns i'm not pushing this engine.
lastly, what kind of torque numbers could i expect? the exedy 1 is rated to 228lb which would be a great DD clutch. the more aggressive non organic clutches i would like to avoid if possible.
