quick spark plug question...
yeah yeah i know- another thread on spark plugs, but try to bear with me for a second here...
im servicing my whole ignition system and went to go get some NGK BRK7E's for my stock d16y8 on 9psi... the guy even let me in the back to look for the ones i needed since he had no idea what a "colder spark plug" meant :rolls eyes: anyways they didnt have them but they did have BKR6E's so i got a set of them... im guessing that instead of 1 step colder that they are in fact 2 steps colder... am i correct on this? can anyone see any problems that i might run into with these? should i keep the gap the same with these or run a larger/smaller gap? thanks a lot guys

no those are only 1 step colder the bkr7e's are the 2 step colder ones.and im pretty sure u should gap them to .30mm if they already coem pregapped the code will be bkr6e -11
alright thanks... does anyone know if these will affect my setup in any way? i know that the risk of detonation is greater but if i retard timing a degree or two should everything be alright? i might just go return these and get some bkr7e's someplace else... thanks
