are you sure its not your injectors 'clicking'.

This may sound foolish but it should help.... My bro showed me this.. give it a try, get a screwdriver and put it against the valvecover with your ear on the grip of the screwdriver (try to get one that is not isolated by a rubber grip; best would be a full metal screwdriver or plastic grip) and listen, then do the same thing to your fuel rail. Try to isolate where the clicking is coming from.

If its your valve cover, do as recommended above, if its your fuel rail I would dismiss it as your injectors.

Take note that you are listening to where it gets loudest.

It might just be your injectors clicking. If not I wouldn't take the chance on driving it around alot....

I'm thinking its your injectors, you just cant hear them clicking when you're driving. I could hear mine anytime I was outside the car, but couldnt when I was driving it.
