Default Quick question for a friend of mine.

I have a friend with a new 2002 Subaru 2.5 RS. I was just curious (if you happen to any experience) how much NOS ::shutters:: could he safely run on a stock motor??? He has been looking at various turbo kits and deamed them out of his price range. Should he save up and buy turbo later? or take the cheap way out and use NOS? Thanks for any help in advance

If I were him I would have bought a WRX....

If he wants to be safe, just get a 50 shot.

Heh yeah he would of liked a WRX. He can't afford it and well everyone seems to be jumping on the WRX band wagon. It's always nice to see something different. Thanks for responce

I think SCC did a turbo project on an RS and they got good power out of it. The thing is they had to have a lot of trinkets (AFC etc) to make it work. They eventually went with a standalone to do it properly, so I think the turbo route would be to expensive. Go with a 50 shot.
