quick question about t3, please help

Default quick question about t3, please help

bought this t3 turbo today just want to know is ot good to use on my d16z6? it .42 stamped on the compressor and in the exhaust flange have the number 2 stamped above the number 36!! does this make any sense? anyway can anybody let me know? thanks for any help.

I use the same trim turbo on my 1.6l engine and it works great. .42/.48 A/R T3. Did you get it out of a Mercedes?

It will work fine. Sounds like it will be a small, fast spooling turbo.

small my t25 is small and this one swamps it in size! is it not .42 exhaust and .72 exhaust? what sort of psi can i push on this?

ya you'll like it even if its a small t3. I run 11-13 psi on a 50 trim with my z6 and I love it. I don't think you would want to run a smaller t3 at more than 15psi. depends on the compressor though.
