Default help with turbo selection.. please help..

i have a b18c1 turbocharged motor now.. im replacing the turbo and going with a new setup... not to sure about the one i have in there now but it has to go... i think its a 60trim t3/t4 i bought the car with it on there to big for me... ok now heres the question... a t3 60-1 for fast spool on a gsr(would like some info if anyone has this setup or knows about it)... or a t3/t4 50 trim... i would like a used 50 trim but they seem to be hard to get a hold of .... ton of 57 trim turbos not sure on the differences in lag.. i want quick spooling turbo so if you have any suggestions please help me out...

You say now you have a 60 trim which you think is too big? Ok well, the t3 60-1 is even bigger. If you want quick spool that makes decent power and you have the money...try the gt28rs with the t3 flange. Dual BB and it will fit your current manifold. But if money is a factor go with a 50 trim with .48 a/r turbine t3/t4, they spool quick, less top end though.

50 trim, stage 3, .63 a/r.

Spools quick, makes good power. Friend made 522fwhp on his b16 with one on stock sleeves. Good little turbo.

Last time I checked, there was a small shortage, but I saw a few on the shelf behind me.
