Quick question about spark plug gap

i'm not sure, but for electricity to travel through the air over a greater distance means that there must be a larger potential difference (higher voltage between the two points). this leads me to think that the larger the gap, the more spark and heat, but i could very well be wrong.

Larger gap the better the combustion process should be. Boost requires a smaller gap. Typically the largest gap without misfiring is the best. Car should run richer with a smaller gap too.
