A quick question about cams
I am going to be turbo charging my B18C in about 5 months. I am planing on going with BC or Skunk2 turbo cams. Can I get and install the new cams now or will they not work, or at least not work good untill the turbo is installed?
The GSR has pretty good cams for turbocharging as it sits. Unless your car is turbo-perfect in other areas, I'd focus on a higher quality tune, better components (turbo, intercooler, exhaust, etc.) before I worried about redoing the head.

Nothing major, 250-350 would be nice. I have done the whole fuel system, injectors, rail, filter, regulator. Next step is Dist cap and plug wires. Any idea where to go from there? I am just trying to get the engine rdy for the turbo.
The simple stuff.. Fuel filter, fuel pump, ensure the engine is in good condition. compression/leakdown testing. Stock cams can work for up to 500whp. No need to go Tuner series. Keep it simple.
i agree with Shodan.... for your power goals just stick to the GSR cams.... but if your really feeling like you want cams.... i would suggest a set of Type R cams.... for the money spent on them i saw a gain of 46 whp on the same boost levels over the GSR cams...
