Default Quick Noob question

Well... i have almost every thing done for my custom turbo kit. Two of the pieces are a delta wastegate and a greddy profec B.

Now my question is if my wastegate is set to 14 psi and i only want to run 7 can my boost controller do that? Or can a boost controller only make a waste gate run higher than its set psi?
TIA

There isn't much mark up on them. Just get it local. I'm not sure about the deltagate but my hks comes apart with 4 allen bolts.

You know, I see Tial 38mm gates go on ebay for $150 all the freakin time. Might be a good investment...
