Default Quick JRSC question! Need help ASAP!

So I just bought myself an ITR. I want boost since Im going from a 541 AWHP Subaru STi to a stock ITR and I found a used JRSC for pretty cheap. But heres my question. The guy says it will work on a type-r. He has everything for it but I believe it probably came off a Civic Si or some other b16 car. Im positive it will bolt up because the only difference between a type-r head and a b16 head is that the type-r heads were pretty much a beefed up b16 head. So will a JRSC that was made for a B16 motor work on my Type-r with the pulley's and stuff? I did notice on JR's website that they all have differnent part #'s and I dont know why! Any help is greatly apreciated as I want boost NOW!

I tried searching JRSC and see if this has been answered before because it probably has but I had no luck.

Hi Brett,

I don't have an answer for you, but you might want to check the parts lists at the Jackson Racing site for differences. That might give you a clue AND help make sure that you get all the parts.

Thanks John, I called JR and they said the kit is 95% the same. They said I may have a problem with the mounting bracket and the throttle linkage. But Im sure some simple fab work could take care of that. Now I just gotta figure out some cheap fuel management. Im only going to be running on 5.5 psi.

There were only 2 or 3 things different. The alternator double pulley and the itr kit comes with a throttle linkage kit. The brackets are the same. If I buy it, I will let you guys know how it turned out.
