quick bov question
yeah i know but is it supposed to be sealed so that no air comes in/out or is it supposed to let a little air in/out. cause i really dont know if i should use this bov or not. and does anyone know what knock-off this bov is suppose to be?
ok.... it seems to me that you dont really know how a BOV works. I am not trying to be a dick or anything so dont get me wrong....
You have to put a vac line on the nipple and run that to your manifold or a Vac manifold.... there is a spring inside that along with the Vac line (that will also see pressure when you are in boost) keep it closed. When you let off the gas the vac line releases the pressure and the spring and vac will cause the valve to open letting air out of the charge pipes via the holes near the bottom of it
I hope this helps you and you understand what I am saying..... lol its 2am here and I have been drinking so bear with me
