Questions about a Turbo setup..
I have been doing a lot of research, but with just reading, not being able to talk to people and not knowing anyone with a turbo Honda/Acura around my area, I am hoping to get some help from you guys.
I have a 2001 Gsr. The car is my daily driver and will remain that way. I do not plan on building the motor any time soon, but I am not ruling it out, it just wont happen for a while.
My question is: I want a turbo kit that will give me good power all the way to redline, I want the car to be streetable, I want around 300HP to the wheels if that is attainable on the stock bottom end of a B18C1.
I am wondering if the Full-Race stage 2 kit is to much for what I want. Being that I may build the motor down the line, would this kit be ok for now?
I have read about the Peakboost kits, Revhard, Drag. I just want some opinions on what kit is a good overall package.
I am trying to keep a budget of about $4000. So I am open to everyones opinions. Thanks

The Full race stage 1 is good for you. 300 whp is a very realistic goal on the OE b18c1 bottom end as well. You'll be within your budget to, if you decide to go w/ a DIY EMS (such as Uberdata). Tune the car conservatively and you'll have a very fun daily driver that will be very reliable. With the money you have left over start looking toward getting a spare block and having it sleeved, Getting rods and forged pistons as well. Hope I helped.

Ok, say that I went with the Stage 1 Full-Race kit, but eventually I built the motor and wanted more power, could I buy a bigger turbo that would bolt right up to the old setup?? Ex: the T3/60-1 that comes in the Stage 2 kit, or would other things have to be modified as well??

What he said and yes you can just add bigger turbo to the kit but of course with the addition of building the engine.
