Default Question for you guys..

Ok so i have a ls block that is laying around my house it is fresh bored and honed out for a 81.50 cp piston..it has been sitting for like 6 month and i have sold the pistons..my brother yesterday gave me a set of weisco 81.50mm high comp pistons..well my question is will those pistons work in that block??

81.5mm is 81.5mm... as long as they cylinder walls aren't rusted or in need of further resurfaceing you should be fine...

However the only one who's going to tell you for sure is a micrometer/dialbore or your engine builder.

So for instance cp and wiseco piston skirts are the same and they have the same piston to wall clearance?

i think they have slightly different PTW specs, do the wisecos have a coating on the skirts?
if it turns out you cant use them let me know, i was planning on putting my slightly used 81.5 cp pistons up for sale soon, they are currently on eagle rods but i can seperate if you already have rods.
