A question for street import intercooler people
I was wondering how good of a job the street import intercoolers do. I first saw them on e-bay. I herd that some of the ebay intercoolers are just a straight through job like you can see from one endtank to the other. I was wondering if these were quality intercoolers and can really support the 270 hp that is claimed out of them. I dont really care about how pretty it is I just want something thats gonna cool things down a bit. If things look good about them I will probally get one cause there a good size for what Im looking to do and the price is decent also.

I had the same problem. I've never heard back from them either. He won't get my $$$.
I'm still looking for one and leaning more towards a spearco and the hell with it! lol

The street import intercooler is a nice peice at least the bigger of the two. It keeps my buddies IAT pretty low on nights that we tune but on hotter , more humid days it does get heat soaked fairly quickly. But for the money I don't think you can beat it. Just my .02

i got the biggest one they had and i sold it right away for with my friend told me hold my cheeck at one end and he blew air through the other end, i felt it on my face right away. no delay or anything. That made me sell my FMIC soo fast because i know it wasn't efficent.

If you have aol, check in your spam folder, all of his e-mails seem to go there for some reason? I though he didn't reply to me, but it was just in the spam folder.

Well, I have one on my setup, and it cools down the air pretty well.
integlspwr2k seems to think that it doesn't work, but @ 7.5psi my car made 263whp. (b16btw) Not too shabby if you ask me.....

I bought one from the guy on this site. Shipped it out right away. Arrived in prefect condition. My car dynoed just over 200whp. I haven't had any problems with it yet. 1400miles.

oh dont get me wrong, its great for low boost applications like yours, but im expecting to make 300whp on a b16 running 10-12psi daily. I'm looking for the most effiecent parts i can get. try and do the test i did to a apexi or greddy fmic, and you can tell the difference.
