Well due to my current financial situation, ive decided to throw out my internal build project and just install my turbo setup...the delay of my pistons caused this and also there isnt many shops in my area that will be able to install my bottom end parts without breaking my bank account, seems that everyone is over charging...

so ive decided to just go ahead and install my turbo stuff and shoot for around 300whp instead of what i was aiming for at around 400...

ill just boost her for now and then im thinkin about building up a dart block on the side...we'll see how it goes...

EXACT same thing happened to me. I am still in the process of building the motor, it's just going to come out better (Was gonna run stock sleeves and shoot for 500, but now I'm sleeving and going for 600).
The only real downside is that, even with good tuning, you never know when your ringlands may decide to crap out. Also, you have to pay for tuning twice, which kinda sucks.....

yea man, with this way ill be able to go way higher in numbers...i wasnt going to sleeve or increase the bore of my block...but now im gunna go maybe 84mm sleeved on the next block...

id rather just enjoy boost for now...it will be early next year if i decide to go thru with this build...so illl just start the turbo install soon...

Pray you dont crack some ringlands. My buddy decided to skip pistons, and low and behold, after 6 months, bam broken ringlands on every piston.

im talking to earl now about a benson block rebuild...if i can get it below 2500 im going to do it..
