Default question on reading compressor maps

Say you have a b16 and a d16 and you want a turbo that will produce 400hp @ 8000 rpms for each. How do you determine accurate flow numbers for each engine? Been looking at garretts information here:

I'm just totally lost on what the differences would be.

I've made an excel sheet using RPM PSI and VE...all you 'd have to change is the displacment. PM me if you want it.

Still not able to figure this out. How do I go about estimating Engine Volumetric Efficiency?
