Default Question from Neebie Looking into the Dark Side

What Parts Are needed or should be purchased for a Turbo System on a 2001 ITR? I've talked with friends and that the Type R is not a very good turbo car with high compression and all. and that between normal turbo and JRSC would equal about the same results. But would anything need changed far as bottom end or anything at all for a normal turbo Fmax is what i'm looking at. I know 3' exhuast i need so far but what about pistons, etc.... Thank you i tried the search too lol.

I would slap on a thicker headgasket and get a Drag system.

If you want to do it right, then I highly recommend going with a stand alone engine management system. Do it right from the start and you will have no problems at all.

I have Hondata on my turbo Type R and no problems. It is all about TUNING.
