I'm wondering if i need a map sensor if i'm only going to be running maximum 10psi and if i do run it now without a 3 bar map sensor and i get it tuned on crome or s200 will i need to retune it later if i do get a 3 bar map sensor this is on a d16y7

you dont need a 3bar map at this point, but it wouldnt be a bad idea to get one now if youre planning to upgrade in the future. Your future tunes will take less time if they can just adjust the current tune rather than redoing the entire thing just to change the map sensor. I wish i would have gotten a 3bar right away

IIRC stock Honda maps are 1.8 bar map sensors. You have to account for 1 atm of static pressure in the atmosphere. Therefore a stock map will read ~11.6psi.

A GM 3bar will read 29psi
An AEM 5bar will read 58psi
