Default Question on making charge piping?

i just bought the greddy type 31 intercooler kit for my custom turbo project.Opon arrival i relized the kit doesnt include charge pipe to the throttle body. I was wondering if i can use a cold air intake and cover the vacum holes and weld a aluminum bov flange on and use that or what? please give me your expertise.

yes. Just make sure it's a 2.5 diameter. 3 inches is too big for low boost (25 and under)
