Question for J&S users
Hey,
I am installing a J&S Ultra Safeguard, and I was wondering about where people were powering the unit from? I know that power gets cut from the accessories when the starter is cranked, so if the J&S is getting power from the fuse box, will the car still start? Are the signals for MAP and ICM (which are both cut and run through the J&S unit) altered or even connected with the unit is not powered on?
Thanks for the help,

A lot of people use it but they probably didn't stop to ask themselves if power wasn't applied would the thing still work. They probably reasoned that since its a piece of electronic equipement, that having power to it while trying to crank the engine just makes sense.
Find a power that is constant while cranking and be done with it.

Hey,
Well other than the ECU what is ignition switched but doesn't loose power when you start the car? Maybe that is a better way to ask my question. I just didn't want to run the J&S off of the 22 gauge or whatever that powers the ECU.
