Default Question to the Hondata users

I'm trying to help and get a '99 civic up and running for a friend. I'm used to an AEM EMS, so some of the hondata software is a bit foreign to me at the moment (first time looking it over).
Hondata S300 w/ the SManager

My first problem is this. For some reason the engine is out of sync with the computer by about 4-5 degrees. I can't add anymore advance. The engine has what appears to be a cheap cam gear on it. Is it possible that this gear is incorrect and should be adjusted?

Second, I do not understand what a -70.3% Retard is doing at 0% on the TPS. Is this correct and if so, could someone explain what that is?

Third, the engine runs waaaaay rich. 12ohm 550cc RC injectors. The factory injectors are gone, so I have nothing to test them against, but is the OHM rating the same? I believe base idle fuel pressure was in the 40lbs range. I'll probably lean it up a bit in the computer, but want to make sure I'm not missing something else first. The car is also without a good O2 sensor...so...kind of working blind on some of this.

Basicly trying to get this car back on the road for a friend. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Make sure the motor is in time (cam/timing belt etc).

Read the help file, it explains every single parameter.
When syncing the ignition timing to the ems make sure you are using the syncing utility. Click online, set timing...
