Default Question for Full-Race guys

I'm looking at your intercooler and you have the blow off valve on the endtank where the turbo goes to the intercooler... can you explain the benefits of this? Does anyone have any pictures of it mounted, im really curious to see how it looks like behind a bumper.. Thanks guys...

Not to hijack the topic but you have to get a 1/2 length radiator instead of the full length on the DC2's. Which is the 1/2 lenght that is as efficient? Seems like your car will overheat.

I know this is totally ****, but the only thing I dislike about the FR intercooler/BOV setup is that it usually pushes the intercooler off center toward the passenger side about 2 inches... making the intercooler look like it was installed by a moron

we can also provide a FMIC with normal endtank inlets/outlets, but we dont recommend it with the ProStreet setup. reason being, is that the hot pipe off the turbo runs close to the mani....heating it. also, our backdoor door design greatly reduces or basically eliminates the charge pipes from popping off from the turbo to IC side :D

btw, LBR92DA-T...you sell zaino stuff?

well the reason being i posted this is that i have atp custom me a intercooler similar to yours except the core is slightly long, 24x8x3.. using the same backdoor endtank.. i can get a local shop to weld a bov flange on the intercooler but wanted to know more about the purpose of doing so. some people said why not just use 2 bov's one on the ic and one near the tb.. but i'm not made of money and if i was i'd be driving something extremely fast and exotic.. but dont we all wish.. i dont sell it but i know the local distributor.. i am perfecting my detailing skills with zaino.. been getting really good.. the 350z guys like me.. supra guys flame me.. i get suby love too.. hehe..

I dont think you will feel a major difference, but before the core, the air is at a higher pressure. From what Geoff has said, we have put BOVs in both places and they work better and definately vent more air before the IC. You can actually feel/hear the difference.

this is why our super duper hardcore setup we are making for a certian big name street class racer is using our new IC:

4.5" Thick, and 18" long, it will look perfectly centered.
