Default intercooler question

Next Tuesday I'm going to be getting my car tuned using hondata. My question is do you think my intercooler will support my goal of 275 -300 whp? The core dimensions are
16"X 6"X 3". I know it's small but 3 years ago it was better then no intercooler.
It's on my list of upgrades. along with new bov, charge pipes,dp, and exhaust.
Anyways Do you guys think it would be efficient enough? Or should I drop my goals down to about 250whp? It's the small greddy intercooler with modified endtanks.

I think those dimensions compare to a starion IC..only that the starion is 25" thick..

On a friends setup it holded really good and he had 250whp and close to 20PSI on a SOHC motor(not a honda).
I have another friend with 264whp who also uses a Starion FMIC..so i think that for your dimensions it should hold up well atleast 250whp

No prob.man..I want to correct that it is 2.5" thick ...not 25" lol

I will be using that intercooler too..

Maybe what you can do is custom make bigger endtanks..

On the 20PSI non honda setup from my friend , his endtanks were 2" and at 18PSI the Exhaust temperatures stayed there between 11-12

Well I'll be selling this intercooler this fall. I'm going to be upgrading to something that will support about 500hp.
