Hey guys im planning to boost my b16 First gen with a Greddy Basic Bolt on turbo kit and planning to boost about 6-8 PSI on Uberdata? ITs gonna be properly tuned


Do you guys think i will be fine on running 6-8 PSI on a Stock B16 First gen? with Uberdata tuned? let me know guys THanks

 

Yes you'll be fine if it is tuned correctly. You could probably run a lot more power and be fine because 6-8 psi aint nothin. Especially with a little greddy turbo.

 

most of the first gen b16's ive seen that got turbo'd didnt fair too well. you have to understand these motors are 16-19 years old.

 

I broke the ringlands on mine with a greddy kit at 11psi

How many have you seen? Replace the pumps and timing belt, compression check it, if it comes up clean boost it. Simple.
