Default Question on b20 block

I currently have a b16a gen 2 swap but now i am considering to get a b20 block put in and use my current head + transmission

anyways i called a shop and asked on the b20 id like to put in, i would also like to have it prepped for boost, this way when i am ready later on this yr, the internal work will already been done and i can just slap on a turbo kit

i said 250-300whp he said lower comp pistons and arp studs and it will be enough. is this true or should the block be beefed up more?

Stock B20/vtec can handle the some power as long as you have a good tune. You don't need low comp pistons, i'd go higher. Studs and a good HG is enough but if you're gonna want some high power just spend the money and sleeve the block. I have a stock B20/vtec motor with just head studs and a 60-1 at 440hp@12psi.
