question about waste gate

Default question about waste gate

i have a b18a completely built and ported head. i as wanting to run a precision sc-61 turbo. he is my problem. i want to put a dual stage manual boost controller so i can run 15 pounds of boost daily driver and then at the strip a want to run about 25 to 30lbs of boost. what size wastegate do you guys think i should run. also will my boost controller work like i am hoping it will. what is a good manual boost controller. what brand of wastegate do you think i should get? i appologize for my ignorance in boost but i will never learn if i dont ask

Well what size wastegate is gonna be a question in which you will get many different answers on this board but what I have read is the more boost you run the less gas you need to bleed and smaller amounts of boost require more bleeding of exhaust gasses so in short lots of boost =smaller wastegete and less boost = larger wastegate and as far as wastegate brand I think the majority on h-t will be tial but there are a few people on here that swear by turbosmart and in my opinion they are both great .Thats just my .02 cents
