Hey im researching turbo set ups in hope of doing my own. I've searched for this, maybe im useing the wrong key words but, All you guys with the top mount manifolds do you have heating issues with a hood, say carbon fiber hoods. If so what are some of the solutions you guys have.

I got a dent in my hood from the compressor housing of my turbo

 

DEI thermal barrier.....dont have any experience with a top mount though. i am too poor. maybe next season.
