Question about running rich
Si I've got a completely built block (9.1 forged pistons, eagle rods, arp bolts etc.) and a mild port job on the head with mildly port IM. I'm running a 255 walbro intank, 310's and the greddy blue box, FP is set at 36psi with hose on. (7psi of boost) I think that my motor is running very rich, cause on the freeway whenever i give it about half throttle anything under 4000rpm (especially in 5th) the motor bogs pretty bad. I have the autometer guage(i know they suck) but it shoots to all the way green whenever it bogs. Uberdata is on the way. The question is should I turn down the Fuel pressure to say 33-34 would that alleviate some of the bogging? keep in mind i dont want to run lean while boosting above 4000. will the blue box compensate enough?

i guess no one is understanding what i mean. Yes i know that the fuel pressure is static and no way to distribute, BUT what i want to know is where is a good point to leave it at right NOW in order to not lean out up top and not bog down lowwww. READ the post before posting
I would just leave it alone until your uberdata is setup. That's what I did. I decided it was better to run super rich in the low RPMs than risk running lean up top. After all, lean blows motors and rich is virtually harmless.
Im having the same problem, my car is running way rich( like around 10.0 to 10.5) at idle and low rpms, under 4000, but when im in boost its 11ish. i have my safc a/f set at -50 from 1000 to 5000 rpm. my fuel pressure is 43. ive tryed taking my fmu out, that did not work. ive been thinking if i got a fuel pressure regulator, i might be able to turn down FP then correcting the a/f using the safc. im scared of blowing up my ring lands or rings due to the amount of fuel not being burned. if any one has put a fuel pressure regulator to fix this problem please post something
