Question about Pusher/Puller Fan!!!
Im having a hard time figuring out the difference between a pusher fan and a puller fan. Ive been researching, but found conflicting info. So far, this is what I've concluded. Is this correct?
Puller Fan: Mounted on the inside of the engine bay and pulls air through the radiator and into the engine bay.
Pusher Fan: Mounted on the outside of the engine bay and pushes air through the radiator towards the engine.
The reason Im having trouble, is because the instructions that came with my fan says that it is set up as a puller fan, but compared to the air flow of my stock fans, its flows air the opposite direction.
TIA

Well for puller mode, it said that the blue wire was positive and black was negative. I hooked it up like this to my battery and it was pushing air towards the front of my car. I then tested the OEM fan and wired it up the same way (blue +, black -) and it was pulling air towards the engine.
