Default Question about nitrous

Could someone please look at my setup in my sig and tell me what you think a 75 shot would do for/against my car. The compression is 12:2:1.

Would it be harmful to my car or would a 50 to a 75 be ok. I asked several mechanics in my area and they said it would probably be ok with that much of a shot.

you should be okay, what injectors do you have, and have you tuned yet?

look at my sig, mods are there. but they are 310cc. And the car has been tuned, but I think i may put it back on the dyno soon. It is running a little rich right now.

Make sure to pull at least 4 deg of timing and use 93 octane for that setup.

pulling timing just helps reduce the change of detonation.. also running colder spark plugs would help

i have heard that high compression engines run well with n20, is that true?

And also, the has some pre-detonation right now (knocking) if i don;t have it in the right gear for the speed. For instance below 3000 rpms, i can;t floor it in 3rd without some knocking. As for a drag race, there is no pre-ignition because of the strength of my first gear.. Should i worry about anythingt?

I wouldn't spray a 12:1 or higher motor on pump gas.
