Default question about my new setup

i have a 3 bar map sensor and an ecu that is chipped for my application that the previous owner bought, now when i have this all in my car it won't start. however when i hook up my stock map and stock ecu it works fine and boosts to 7.5 no problem. Is that right??? people are telling me it shouldn't run as good as it does, at top of third and into forth it feels weak and sputters a bit.
im running a vafc hack for now, going to get dyno tuned friday, just wondering if anyone knew why i can run as good as i do on stock map and ecu but won't start on the 3 bar.????

Are you running an engine management system? Maybe you might have a bad 3bar Map sensor.

no engine magement systems, just threw a turbo kit on my car and it wouldn't start with the set-up that i was given for with the kit, but it did start on the stock map and ecu, after i t ook out about 38%on my vafc and i am still blowing lots of black smoke

I am pretty sure that the 3 bar is not compatable with a stock or "chipped" ecu. I could be wrong though. *shrug* However I am positive that you should not be boosting without tuning. The sputter up top could be a lean condition. Be carefull.
