question about map sensors?
as in the topic... I have a question about a generic gm 3 bar map sensor I can get made by a company called wells (local auto parts stores sometimes stock these as replacements)???
they are said to be a certified performance that is matched to their oe gm counterpart... wiring and whatnot included (I would personally think they have to be decent to be a plug and play replacement part but am not sure).
they retail for half the price.
anyone heard of these? thinking of purchasing one and testing it out.

googled it and the only thing I could find was their site, which lacks much detailed information...

23 dollars and change before taxes.
I do have the option of using a 3 bar and I am going to pick up a sensor to check the voltages... so we shall see I guess.

What ems are you using.. On the AEM EMS you can change the voltage range and what loads are what voltage so you can use any map sensor made..
I am using the hondata s200b... thats why I was looking at something like these clone gm 3 bar sensors. My system does not support much else from what I understand.
