Question about MAP sensor with Missing link (or similar)
Hey guys, I know that the missing link is supossed to tell your MAP sensor that there is no boost (or something like that...it's not designed to work in positive pressure). My question is, shouldnt it tell the MAP sensor that it's at the correct pressure at idle??(my OBD checker says my MAP is telling my car im at 6.8 in/hg at idle
when my boost guage says 20 in/hg) Im assuming my MAP is shot, but did I assume wrong or does the Missing link (Actually an E-Manage, but same principle) actually change the signal that the MAP recieves at idle??

Okay...this is correct. The MAP sensor reads in reverse of what it actually does. My MAP reads like 9 or so at idle and goes all the way up to 30 in/hg. (as it sees boost.)
