There is nothing wrong with using PVC. It is fine for thousands of psi and doesn't start to melt till almost 400*. Infact some may argue PVC is great material to use post intercooler assuming your under the hood temps are higher than the temps post intercooler.

Ghetto piping for life!

Try it out and let us know how it works.

Come come PVC is ghetto for charge pipes but thousands of cars a year have plastic ABS intake manifolds and thats perfectly fine? Its just another material in the world to use. Might not be the best, but its not the worst either.

A guy around me just turbo'd an Smokey the Bandit Trans Am with my old .57 trim, and he used all Home Depot SCH-40 PVC for his charge pipes.

It's been done. They hold pressure very well. If you're worried about weight, I'd get some ABS instead of PVC.

Yea but I would pay an extra $200 NOT to have to weld and cut in the 110 deg. heat index outside currently. To each his own, guess I am just a lazy ***.

lazy *** ....... hahaha thats why I built all mine during the winter time, and plus my dad did all the welding (hes been doing body work for 35 years so he can weld better than me)

But to each his own.... I would rather put that $200 somewhere else
