Question about a dyno
http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/0108tur_apexturbo/index.html
Double click on the APEXi turbo kit w/ GT intercooler Dyno. Look at the torque improvement (upper line) vs. the stock line.
Even at 2000 rpm there is a 25 ft-lb increase in torque.
How can that be? The engine wouldn't be under boost at 2000 rpm. I would think that torque would be lost with a turbo until boost kicks in?

Re: Question about a dyno (kysard)
You shouldn't really lose any torque due to the turbo. The gain is probably because the turbo already started spooling. I don't know cant tell because the chart starts at 2krpm
