Question about CAI on supercharger?
I am running the Jackson Racing Supercharger on my LS and also running the iceman cold air intake on it too. But i read somewhere that i should run the short ram with the supercharger. Whys that?
jrsc doesn't like any sort of battle when it comes to ingesting air. The CAI is long, and contains bends that make it tougher for the air to get through to the blower. Remember, it likes to blow the air, not suck it.
I run the Iceman SRI on my jrsc, and it works great. I've also found that the shorter you cut your SRI, the less restriction you get, thus more power.

then why not just put the filter on the throttle body or better yet "open throttle body"

Then if i do open throttle bodie then i guess thats saying oh lets suck in some dust particles and say goodbye to my motor and blower as well.. I went and changed it and wow it seems a lot better. Got some more get up and go. Thanks for the help.
