in NJ/NY area I was going to pay between $1800 and $2200, the $1800 was for the unit and tuning, not the injectors, or map sensor, the $2200 was with the injectors, 3 bar map, unit, and dyno.

the one tuner is leaning twards the accel DFI gen 7 now, for that is about the same $1700 to $1800, again I have to supply the injectors (wich I now have) and the map, but the DFI also comes with some sensors (I am told) in the kit.

the important thing is to decide who is going to tune the car, and what system they are using, and are best/most familiar with. so find a good tuner, and talk with them, I am in the process of doing the same, just check out what they tell you, tuners want you to BUY what they sell, so its always good to research and substansiate thier claims, search H-T, search GOOGLE, and always check out the manufacturers web sites... good luck hope this helps

buy a wideband and learn to tune it yourself, you'll be much happier in the long run, trust me.

like mase said get a wideband and tuned yourself you'll be happy unless you have no kind of mechanical knowledge ... is not that hard you just have to read lots and lots on their manuals... or you can always ask other ems user how to do certain thing like I do... right mase

Alright guys I have a wideband but I want to get this thing to run better then stock. I have been talking to Chris at Horsepowerfreaks but they no longer do tuning. He sent me to another guy that he does work with and the guy seems to know his ****. They are all Supra guys but they all runs ems. They are xpensive he wants like $1500+/- to completly tune for everything and make it run better then stock and then a seperate map for race gas

yes, i wish i did this also. I spent $600 on tuning(150/hr) and i only got to tune for 9psi My tuner said my injectors were almost maxing out...wtf 780cc maxing out at 254whp??? I'm thinking my fpr isnt working correctly (b&m). Anyways to make a long story short, i need to go back and tune for high boost and i also got a bigger turbo which requires more tuning from my previous t3/t4b. Awesome...more money.
