Nice that should be higher on a dyno jet. Most people don't like to make past 500 on pump

Yea a friend of mine has a Ego Jet we are going to put it on there just to see the difference. As for over 500 on pump the A/F is good, timing is conservative so im not to worried about it. If anything i may go to 100 oct and see what it does.

Damn that's at least 610whp on a Dyno Jet (using a 15% comp)!

If his dynamics has the latest firmware it's not quite that much of a difference... I'd say 8 - 10%. doesn't matter tho... that is awesome fuggin power on pump man!

i dont get how you guys are saying this and that about a dyno jet, dyno dynamics, etc. they are all user configurable, there is no way to say one is going to make more power than another. like some say a dynapack reads super high, then i take my car and put it on a dyno dynamics and make 20 more whp. some read high some read low, its just meant to be used as a tool for tuning.

to the OP i dont consider 17 degree's of timing super conservative at all at 500whp on pump gas...

I was thinking 14 degrees was conservative but since I'm not a tuning expert I stayed quiet when he said 17. I've seen timing maps on c16 with 17 degrees at 20psi

It gets jagged at the top due to the factory coil not holding up lol. That issue is fixed now. Will have a new graph by this weekend hopefully. Just ignore the boost creep(traction control lol)

so you use 17 degrees of timing on every honda u tune? are they all making 530+whp?

between 15-17ish. Depends on the setup. good flowing head will allow for alittle more timing. Not all make 530's. This one gained alot due to the S368 borg warner with the new comp R wheel. Turbo makes all the difference also.

i know it makes the difference, im just not sure you do since you said you run 17 degrees on all your setups. on the bright side since it seems to spool so late i guess 17 degrees isnt too bad if its in the upper rpms, still nothing i would claim as super conservative though.

its not spooling late its just making 18psi on a 12# spring. 17 degrees is fine. havnt had a motor come apart yet.

just like everyone who freaks out when you go above an 84mm bore. Ive run 85mm plenty of times. again no issues.

Can you get a screen shot of the timing map?

timing doesnt show up on the dyno graph. i just add timing till i get a diminishing return of torque.

yeah i can see that but either way its not reaching the torque values that demand less timing until late rpms which require more timing so its not as bad as i pictured. my 500whp setup reaches almost 350 ftlbs at the crossover quite a bit different.

if this hit harder in the midrange and went right to 18.5 and held out instead of creeping to it from 12 i wouldn't be running 17 degrees in the midrange. thats just me though, im not trying to tell you how to tune cuz i am definately not a tuner.

And then you pull like 2 degrees after peak torque?

Nope, I used a map from a tuner friends "squirrel stash" as he calls it. I will get some pics of the car tomorrow.
