why the heat wrap on the charge pipes? I thought that heat wrap was designed to keep the heat in.
Just wondering

heheh....already try that...that's how i got the passenger one of...me being about 150lbs tried jumpin on it started bending the breaker bar...had a 210lb friend jump on it still nothing....its been through 2 breaker bars already for just the driver side....i already borrowed a buddies mini compressor and hit with a semi-torquey wrench nothing...

were gonna try some stupid crap tommorow innovating more torque onto the breaker bar and see what happens

the tuning should be a piece of cake, it usually is. It's the trouble shooting that tends to be the PITA

if you're still having problems with your axle nut and you have a floor jack, you can loosen the axle nut easily. get the bars from the floor jack (mine came with 2 that you can connect together) and use those as breaker bars. works great and because they're like 4 feet long connected, you can a lot of torque on it.

If the axel nut is really stuck I have done a couple things in the past.

first use lube, impact gun and an impact socket. Sometimes just pounding on it for 10 or 20 minutes will do it. If not use a little heat and the impact gun.

last resort (only done this once but it worked well)-- get a diegrinder w/ a cutoff wheel and slit the nut across one side just missing the axel. Once you are 80% of the way through wrench on it and it should come off very easily. of course you will neeed a new nut though. Just make sure you don't knick the hub too bad (thats why you can only get about 80 of the way through)

hope this helps. car looks, um, way faster than mine
