Default project block, help me out!

i just picked up this gsr shortblock with a cracked sleeve. i plan on resleeving this block but is this block to messed up to do so? i was also wondering if the crank was in good condition as well.

block looks fine
who knows with the crank. hard to tell from just pictures.

Have a machine shop clean,inspect,and if its good polish it.If it needs to be ground,find another one.There's lots of good gsr cranks out there.
