is the profec A good as a boost controller
if you compare it to a a-vcr or a profec B?

I personally like Profec B for its simplicity. I don't need all the fuzzy logic, and the "learning" feature that the A has. I heard that they are a bitch to configure too. You basically need to be able to make a few high speed runs to configure it. Profec B is easy...set it and forget it, no time wasted; no guess work!

 

is it really that hard to set?
can someone that has it can tell me if its that hard to configure?

We've installed a few of them and have never had a problem with them "learning" on single turbo cars.

i got it for around 200$ US

 

I like it , some people don't. For $200 I would say yes.
