porting will give you that power at a lower boost pressure but its been proven that the stock head will make that power.

I have been 84mm on a couple motors with the same b16 head. No problems whatsoever. Right now I am running 84.5mm with a b16 head and stock combustion chambers.

not if you go with low comp pistons for whatever bore size your going with.

if u want to make the most power u can ands u have the cash for then do it sum guys r making 400 hp on 20+ boost pressure but if u build the head alittle . u could be making that aT 15 pounds of boost instead of 20+. also less stress on motor

What about the other way around? Smaller bore on the block than on the head.
Just had to ask and break up this thread a bit. (no I don't have this problem...yet).

That is exactly what I am shooting for. By completely stock, I assume you mean stock springs and retainers? Do you have a dyno, as I would like to see your power band? Also, what turbo are you running?

Thanks

Yes, completely stock. I plan to put in my Ferrea springs and retainers though, as I am taking it up to 8500. I do have a dyno chart, but its not too clear. Im hoping Jeff will post it soon. My turbo is a Full Race T3/T67 H.O. The car did make 605 though it was too lean for Jeffs liking. So it was turned down to 555.
