B16 head milled?
I bought a b16 head that has been milled. previous owner does not know the exact specifications of how much it was milled. Is there anyway to find out w/ out assembling the block.

Re: B16 head milled? (kidd_drastic)
cc the chambers, That will give you some idea if it has been milled alot. I think you could probably measure the thickness of it and compare to stock head. Good Luck!

stock head should measure 5.589-5.593"
we've gone as much as .075" with no problems. ( by that i mean, on certain setups. I am not saying its ok to go ahead and miull .075" and then have your valves kiss the pistons. I moreso mean, it can be safe to run a very milled head with the correct setup)

no, but stock is somewhere around 42.7, i have seen up to 43.2 before on a stock head though. If i were you, i would measure your head thickness and post it up here for more feedback

Re: (RPRacing)
I have a couple PR3 heads laying around. One I don't think has ever been milled. I 'll check it out today... I have cc'ed stock heads that were more cc's then they were supposed to be too!
