Do RC injectors have a problem opening up at cold starts? As in previous threads that I've posted, I've been having problems with cold start misfiring. I'm using a VAFC II with it set at -18 @ 1k. When it warms up, it's fine but on cold starts, my car throws misfire codes.

I finally found a solution to this. I would set the the AFC at -10 @ 1k-1.5k, until the motor warms up a bit (about 2-4 minutes), then I just set it back to where it was before. No cel codes this way.

Anyone know if it's safe to adjust the AFC settings while at idle, or do I have to shut the motor off?
