Default PROBLEM WITH TIAL BOV!!!

I was wondering if anyone else was running a tial bov and if you had any trouble with it not blowing off. If anyone is looking to get rid of a type s for good price let me know!

Which lbs spring is in the BOV? Did you try giving it its own seperate vacuum line?

No its not even on the car yet the car is still being built. I have a buddy that has the same bov on a eclipse gsx and his wouldnt blow off until 26 lbs. We tried to crack it by hand and its impossible, we had to put it on a press to even think of cracking it open. Also I really want type s anyway, Im trying to figure it all out before the flange is welded

Before I installed mine, I was worried I had the high PSI one also, so I took the BOV apart to check the spring color. I have a silver spring. It's a mother to push open by hand...almost can't be done.

After installing it and feeding it boost/vacuum from a vacuum manifold, it works flawlessly...I can even hear it opening at slight vacuum [7-0" Hg] on shifts. I love the way it sounds and performs, and I don't think there's a better BOV on the market.
