Default Priming Oil System Necessary?

I read on Team Integra that when changing your oil and oil filter on a turbo honda it's absolutely necessary to prime the oil system afterwards. I know how it's done so no need to explain it to me I just wanted to know if it's actually necessary. Seems odd considering the turbo wouldn't have any oil in it after a night of sitting in the driveway but we don't prime it every time we drive the car. Someone care to explain it to me? Thanks in advance.

no priming required at an oil change.....that is a waste of time.

it is a precautionary measure. i used to do it on the buicks even with filling the filter with oil.

personally, as long as you dont start it, and immediately put it on the box, you are fine.

^ So neither of you 2 bother to prime your oil systems after changing your oil and filter and haven't had any problems?
