Pretuned ecu?
Well I was talking to this guy who has a boosted crx, and i want to boost so bad but i still have a little more to do before I go turbo. But anyways Hes running the lil saab T3 and I said what are you doing for fuel management, then he told me about this site which you tell them your setup/motor/etc. and the will send you a tuned ecu thats wuarantee'd for a year.
I not saying thats what I want to do but does this exist? I remember with the nissans we would send our ecu's to jim wolfe technologies and they would set up the ecu for you.

No, some places you can tell them your setup and they will create a basemap for you, but this is very broad and is no replacement for tuning. It's merely to get the car running.

You know of any companies that would do that?

J-K-tuning.com, Xenocron, pretty much anywhere that sells chipped ECU's.
However, if you try to drive around on one and boost without getting a real tune, you will probably pop your motor. I'd probably sooner use an FMU than a basemap.

I guess but I hear so much crap about FMU's. Ill do it the right way but im just looking at all the cheaper/easier alternatives first. Ill probably end up getting the ECU chipped and getting it tuned buy some one.
Cause your right, I don't wanna pop my motor

Just get the chipped ECU, call a local tuner, (use the tuner directory at the top of the page) and and get a simple tune. Usually costs about $150 for a good street tune.
