pressure drop from adding intercooler..
i haven't been using my brain lately, ive searched but couldn't find the answer i was looking for.. anyhow.. as you can see i am a turbo no0b..
i'm wondering what kind of pressure drop i'll be running into with my setup.. i have a maxrev kit(t3t04e).. with revhard piping + intercooler.. the intercooler runs about.. 28x6.5x3... i plain on running 440 injectors with hondata s200... thanks in advance..

i almost forgot about this thread... anyhow.. what do you mean 1-2%?.. that sounds GREAT.. but i highly doubt it..
.. anyone else wanna fill me in?

friend: about 1 psi drop from adding a starion FMIC onto a greddy kit for 98 civic ex.
me: i dunno because i have always had my IC.

I moved my wastegate line from the turbo outlet, to right before the TB and it made NO difference in how much I boosted (which it should, if the intercooler was significantly restrictive) maybe 0.5psi...I'm using a little DSM SMIC, though...

just run the wastegate vacuum line to some vacuum line off the intake manifold.
the wastegate will adjust to the amount of boost actually going in the engine and you won't "see" any pressure drop like you would with the wastegate reading off the turbo before the ic
