Presicion 780's in edlebrock IM.. Not fitting very well.
Injectors fit the rail great, but there a poor fit into the intake mani.. It will leak forsure!
Its a brand new IM too.. Do i need to get different sized O-rings?
Anyone? Thanks

did you try boreing the gasket out? I think that is what you have to do

huh?
Im sorry but there is no gasket.. The bottom of the injector has a o ring seal and it slides into a bored hole in the manifold, and its not a good fit.

What about the rubber spacers? Did you get new ones of those too? My precision 95lb injectors fit in my edelbrock manifold fine.

My PTE 780 fits perfectly into my Edelbrock manifold. There shoule be a big oring/rubber piece on the manifold and an o-ring on the fuel rail. That will seal it up good.

Make sure you lube both end of the injectors so it slides in easier without damaging the o-rings and rubber ring.

Yeah i got a o ring on each side of the injector.. The intake manifold just has a spot for them to go.. but when i put them into the inake manifold its a sloppy fit?
hmm.. In retarded
Ill figure this one out

Ill get pics up tommorow..
Tommorow i plan to prep the IM for install if i can figure out these damn injectors..
Its almost like the OD of the rubber oring on the bottom of the injector is smaller the the ID of the injector boss in the manifold. Ill also see how my stock ones fit, if they dont fit ima give the install line a call and see what they say.
